A Practice Hike

Well we finally got our bags packed and went out for a practice hike. While we were walking down the street some guy in a truck almost hit us on the cross walk. That's not a very good start to our adventure! We continued our walk to Mountview School to see Mama Yvonne and get our picture taken with our packs :) We walked for about an hour and we decided that each day we will walk with our packs to get used to them and break them in before we leave. It was a good day and we feel our time is getting closer to our departure.

Our Adventure is About to Begin

Well in 7 days our adventure will finally begin. We bought our backpacks, have made lists so we don't forget anything while we are AWAY for 6 months. We have said our good-byes (or see you soon) and are ready to embark on our new adventure that we will never forget! Neither of us have ever travelled like we will for the next 6 months, no plans set in stone besides our flight. We're both kind of jumpy, nervous but yet so anxious for this trip :)
